New Cumbrian legal practice EMG Solicitors has hosted its first Ladies’ Supper Club.

Professional women from across Cumbria joined EMG Director and Head of Wills, Trusts and Probate Samantha Edward, and her colleagues, Natalie Spedding an Associate in Litigation, and Fiona Miller from their Family team, at an evening held at the creative venue Makers’ Mill, in Keswick.

As well as the opportunity to look around the gallery of work by artisan makers including owner Luke Harding, and artist Celia Burbush, the guests were treated to a delicious buffet by The Cumbrian Chef, Julian Ankers.

Among the Mediterranean-style antipasti boards were local produce including Winter Tarn Dairy butter, chutney from Hawkshead Relish, RB Woodall’s airdried ham and Black Dub Blue cheese from Appleby Creamery, all complimented with wine from Lake District Wine also of Keswick.

Samantha, who comes from St John’s in the Vale, said: “EMG opened in Penrith last year and we are very keen to be involved in the local community where we offer high quality legal advice in a breadth of private client services.

“We thoroughly enjoyed hosting friends at our new Ladies’ Supper Club and we’re looking forward to hosting again and meeting professional colleagues during 2024.”
