Prestigious national ranking for North East legal firm EMG Solicitors
Posted:11th December 2020
A North East firm of solicitors, EMG Solicitors, is celebrating after being included in the prestigious Chambers and Partners national rankings for the first time.
Chambers and Partners is an independent research company delivering detailed rankings and insight into the world’s leading lawyers. For people buying legal services, the Chambers Guide provides a reliable and up-to-date recommendation, using a wealth of localised knowledge and market insight, that people can trust.
EMG Solicitors, which was established in 2014 and has offices in Durham and Gosforth, has been listed in the Court of Protection: Property and Affairs section, one of the areas the company has built a nationwide reputation for. The ranking is in recognition of the firm’s expertise in ‘mental capacity work and personal injury cases where the client has sustained brain damage.’
The firm was praised for having ‘superb client care’ and the team recognised for working extremely hard and going ‘the extra mile’. ‘Their commitment to clients is absolutely unquestionable’, said one testimonial.
Managing Director, Emma Gaudern, has also been recognised as a ranked individual in the area of Court of Protection with ‘notable strength in trusts, wills and probate matters.’ Emma, who acts on behalf of incapacitated individuals in the role of a professional deputy and as trustee, is described as “impressive and dedicated to this area of work. She is really good in her representation of clients and will give the best service possible.”
Emma Gaudern, Managing Director, said she was delighted that the company’s ongoing commitment to growing the company and providing excellent service was recognised, given their clients are some of the most vulnerable people in society.
“Having only set up the firm six years ago, our inclusion in Chambers for the first time is a real boost for the team. It’s more than a professional accolade. It matters because of the feedback included from the people we work for. I’m really proud of how far the team has come and the feedback is validation of what we strive to achieve.”
“Our Court of Protection team is now one of the largest independent teams in the North of England and we’re looking to continue to grow in 2021.”
