Rebecca Sparrow
Experience
Rebecca qualified, in 2009, as a private client solicitor in a law firm in Lincoln where she also trained. In 2010, she joined Irwin Mitchell in London as an Associate in their Court of Protection team where she assisted on deputyship, personal injury trust and statutory will matters predominantly for clients in receipt of large compensation awards.
From 2014 to 2021, Rebecca worked in the highly regarded Court of Protection team at Penningtons Manches Cooper where she was promoted to Senior Associate where she continued to focus on the management of property and affairs pre settlement and post settlement . Following this, Rebecca moved to Moore Barlow as Partner and Head of Court of Protection overseeing the firm’s deputyship matters and acting as one of the appointed deputies. She joined EMG in January 2024.
Rebecca is noted in the Legal 500 as a ‘very experienced Court of Protection Solicitor.’ She acts as an expert witness in respect of ongoing professional deputyship and trust costs for adults and children.
