Callum Robertson

Associate Solicitor

Job Role at EMG

I am an Assocaite Solicitor and joined EMG in September 2016. My work predominately involves the purchasing, selling and refinancing of houses whilst also dealing with the registration of unregistered land whether adversely or not. I enjoy building a rapport with clients and am easily contactable all of the time.

Experience

I joined EMG Solicitors as a paralegal after graduating from Northumbria University. I completed my degree whilst working full time so I am not afraid of hard work. I am now a solicitor and work entirely within Residential Conveyancing department after experiencing work within Disputes & Litigation and Wills, Trust and Probate, and being part of the team winning The Law Society Excellence in Conveyancing Award in 2017. I work with clients all over the country; helping first time buyers take that leap onto the property ladder, to dealing with unregistered land and everything in between. I thoroughly enjoy everything about my role, especially helping clients purchase the property that is right for them and taking the stress out of the whole process. I understand the difficulties that can occur, and the importance of communication to find the right solution.

What do you like about working at EMG?

Working at EMG is very much like having a second family and staff perks range from the sausage making to dinner on a sky table over the River Tyne. Everyone is welcoming and more than happy to assist wherever possible to help each client reach their gaols.

Outside of EMG?

My partner works within our finance team and I would like to say after spending the day with her I can do what I what I want when I get home. This is not true, children and family come first…apart from when the rugby is on.
