Claire Assadi
Solicitor
Job Role at EMG
I joined EMG Solicitors in March 2025 as a Solicitor in the Court of Protection Team (Property and Affairs). My role is to support professional deputies and trustees manage a client’s property and financial affairs. This involves making important decisions relating to finances, living and care arrangements etc, and ensuring that they are in the client’s best interests.
Experience
I completed the LPC at Northumbria University in 2008 and started my legal career as a Trainee Solicitor in a well-established high street law firm. During my training contract, I gained experience in litigation, family, and employment law. I also became an accredited Police Station Representative. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and predominantly practised in Personal Injury Law, representing clients in both low and high value claims. I joined EMG Solicitors in 2025 and I am transferring 16 years of knowledge and experience in Personal Injury Claims into the Court of Protection team.
What do you like about working at EMG?
What I value most about working at EMG Solicitors is the firm’s commitment to client care and making a real difference in people’s lives. The collaborative and supportive environment here also stands out, as it enables us to provide the best possible service, while continuously growing as legal professionals.
Outside of EMG?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my four sons. I spend most evenings and weekends chauffeuring and standing on the sidelines of football pitches, cheering my boys on. I am also on the committee of my son’s grassroots club which is a voluntary administrative role.6
