Courtney McMillan

Paralegal

Job Role at EMG

I joined EMG Solicitors in January 2021 as a Paralegal in the Court of Protection Health and Welfare Department.

Experience

I have worked in law firms since leaving school in 2016, starting as an apprentice on reception, before qualifying as a Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary in a County Durham based high street firm. I then moved to a large regional practice where I trained and specialised in Health and Welfare Court of Protection matters, a role which I enjoyed and am pleased to be able to develop my specialism further with EMG Solicitors.

What do you like about working at EMG?

From the minute you walk in the door you feel part of a family. Everyone has given me such a warm welcome and are very supportive. It is a privilege to work for EMG.

Outside of EMG?

When I am not working I enjoy going for long walks with my Lhasa Apso, Jenson. I also love to travel whether it be in the UK or abroad. I also enjoy baking.
