Job Role at EMG

I am a Director Solicitor at the firm having joined EMG in September 2024.  I split my time working between our Court of Protection Property & Affairs and Wills, Trusts & Probate Teams.

Experience

I have recently moved from a large international law firm working mainly from its Newcastle office.  I have worked for private clients since qualifying as a Solicitor.  I am a Court appointed Panel Deputy having acted as such for over 20 years.

What do you like about working at EMG?

I moved to EMG because of their experience in Court of Protection work and the resources available.  I like the EMG values which they ensure are adapted as part of everyday working life at EMG.  Since joining the firm I have found the people to be extremely helpful and approachable and very focused on delivering the best possible service to clients.  EMG’s role in the wider community and its charitable endeavours are noteworthy.

Outside of EMG?

I have family both in the Lake District and London so spend time travelling to see them.  This means I get to enjoy city life and country life.  I enjoy the theatre and cinema and enjoy meeting up with friends for a drink or meal.
