Job Role at EMG

I am a Paralegal within the Wills, Trust and Probate Team and joined the Firm in October 2024. I am primarily based at the Gosforth office but do travel between our offices, if needed.

My current role is to the support the Fee earners within the department to help them provide the best possible service and advice to Clients.

Experience

I have over 20 years’ worth of experience within the Wills, Trust and Probate sector having worked at my previous Firm in Sunderland since leaving school.

I started my career with my previous Firm as an office trainee and was promoted to legal secretary in the Wills, Trust and Probate department within six months of joining.  I then progressed further a few years later and became a Paralegal providing support to both Clients and other members of the team.

During my time with my previous Firm, I completed a distant learning course in Wills, Probate and Estate Administration and, in December 2022, I graduated from the University of Law and am now a Specialist Paralegal in Wills, Probate and Estate Administration.

What do you like about working at EMG

Everyone is so friendly, approachable and supportive.

Outside of EMG

I love travelling to new places (either with my Husband, Tony or with “the Girls”).  I also love to spend as much time as possible with my Family and socialising with Friends.

I am also a lifelong supporter of Sunderland AFC and am and have been a season ticket holder for a number of years (even through the harder times 🙂).
