Job Role at EMG

I am a Solicitor and Director at EMG and lead our Darlington office having joined in January 2023. I work in the Court of Protection, Health and Welfare department and I am accredited to both the Law Society’s Mental Health and Mental Capacity panels and act for individuals, families, and professional clients.

Experience

I have worked within the Court of Protection and Mental Health field since I qualified as a Solicitor in January 2011. I have worked with a large range of organisations and dealt with a wide range of matters. I have guided individuals and their families through complex Court of Protection proceedings and Mental Health Review Tribunals. I have worked with professional clients to both represent, advise and provide training in this complicated field.

What do you like about working at EMG?

EMG is a supportive workplace where the role of each individual is equally as important in providing the best client focused service. It is important for me that the client remains at the heart of the work we do so that we can achieve the best outcome!
